Gone are the days of the paper scrapbook that you bought in Woolies and filled with your photos or newspaper cuttings only to find that when you got them out to show to the grandchildren everything had gone yellow and faded.
Scrapbooks (well, most of the ones we have!) are now made with plastic inserts. You can buy acid and lignin free scrapbook paper (that means the paper won't decay or damage your photo) - attach your photos and mementos to the paper and slide it into the insert. The page is protected from finger marks and wear and tear and you can easily remove the page and add extras.
Great fun to make and a brilliant gift!!
Have a look at the Scrapbook demo page for a very simple example of how to get started. (just run your mouse over the tab for this page to locate the demo page)
