BIRTHDAY CARD

birthdat card

Here is a very simple Birthday card made using some lovely paper from the My Mind's Eye 'Wild Asparagus' range.

I've used a cream coloured square card blank and simply cut out a slightly smaller square of the dotted design paper and fixed this to the
front of the card with double sided tape
(This is gorgeous paper - it feels lovely as the dots are slightly raised and give an extra dimension to the page).
I then cut out a rectangle from a different pattern in the collection, inserted a couple of blue Dovecraft Glitter Floral Brads in the corners and fixed that to the backing sheet with 3D foam pads. This gives an extra depth to the card.
Next I fixed a Happy Birthday peel-off to a scrap of the dotted paper, edged it with a wavy border peel-off and used 3D foam tape to attach that.
Finally I trimmed the card with a pretty rich chocolate brown ribbon (which came from a box of chocolates!) and there it is.

A pretty and unique card made in minutes
